I have had a craft/sewing blog for about a year now which has been fun, but I just wanted to have a spot where I can share about another really huge part of me - my Christianity and experiences. Background - I am 31 and have been married for almost ten years. I became a Christian at the age of 15 and have had many ups and downs since then! I was born in New Zealand and currently reside in Australia with my husband and four children. In August of last year, my husband lost his job and has been looking and applying for positions ever since(over nine months). We didn't want to go on the benefit so have been living pretty much on Faith since then.
What does that mean, living on Faith? For us it meant months of raging at God, alternating between despair, hope and confusion. Every door we knocked on was closed. It wasn't logical. He was a model employee - hardworking, intelligent, skilled and versatile. As a couple we have always sought Gods will before making any major decisions including career moves so we KNEW this was what He wanted for us right now. Why?
